Martin Hollis, Zoonami’s founder and CEO, is a renowned game industry veteran of over 20 years and director/producer of the critically acclaimed first-person shooter GoldenEye007 which has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide. Martin was Head of Software at Rare, Ltd and also directed/produced a second breakthrough title, Perfect Dark, before leaving Rare for Nintendo of America to work as a full-time consultant on the development of the GameCube.
In 2000, Martin founded Zoonami in Cambridge, UK, to become an independent developer of innovative games. His aim is to sustain a quality brand for decades. With this view to the long term, he stresses corporate and individual professionalism, nurturing of employees, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance. He remains intent on creating original, fun, and innovative games through extensive research and development, using an incubator system to thoroughly analyze and develop game ideas from their initial concept stage through to prototype and completion.
